One Hour Into Lunch, And Janice From Accounts Is Already Off-tap

“Throw your tickets away everyone. My horse is gonna win. Hey where'd my hat go?!”

Janet Stimson (48) is a dynamite accountant, and the proud mum of two beautiful daughters. She tends to keep to herself at work, often with her door closed as she crunches numbers and processes payments.

On the whole, she is a pretty reserved person. Which is why she loves accounts. She can immerse herself in her work, without a heap of human interaction. But once or maybe twice a year, she lets herself off the chain. And today is that day.

She is generally a modest dresser, but is feeling very glamorous with her fancy new fascinator on. She’s already polished off a shampers and two glasses of wine, and she is feeling very stimulated. Every single thing that anyone says reminds her of a very important anecdote that she just can’t hold in. She wasn't originally planning on cutting too loose, but she can feel it coming over her. Today is taking on a life of its own.

We caught up with her to ask what the plan is.

“Well hello cutie. You’re the newspaper guy? I always thought I could be a writer for a newspaper. I’m very good with words. What are my plans? Well I just texted Roger to see if he can pick the kids up. He’d better. I do so much for him it’s the least he could do. Lazy bastard.”

It feels very early in the day for her to be this disjointed. This could get messy. She really seems like she’s on a mission. There is every chance she’ll be airing work grievances in an hour or so.

We will keep you informed as this story develops.
