Kid Doesn’t Realise The Mistake His Little Sister Just Made In Pronouncing His Name Is Gonna Stick F

"When Sophie toddled into the room, she saw her big brother Jake playing with his toys. She tried to say his name, but she has always had trouble with it. She instead called him "Dakey". Everyone had a good laugh, including Jake.

Jesse Peden was mucking around with his son Jake this morning, wrestling and generally being silly. It was one of those fun, crazy mornings where the whole family was in a good mood and ready for a very enjoyable Sunday.

Jake's cute little sister Sophie then toddled into the room to see what sort of shenanigans her dad and brother were up to. She flashed them both a big smile, and then started babbling away.

She had a crack at saying Jake's name, but it came out as "Dakey".

Everyone had a good laugh, including Jake's mum Sally, who had walked in just as the hilarious mispronunciation had taken place.

Sally was the only one in the room who realised the significance of the moment.

"Oh yep I've seen this happen before. It happened in my family when I was a kid. It happened to cousins and friends at school. And now it's happening here. Jake doesn't realise it, but he's now "Dakey". At least in this house and probably far beyond. The way we all pissed ourselves when she called him that... Yeah I can tell it's not going anywhere. At least not for a few decades."

Almost immediately after the verbal mistake was made, Jake asked his dad if everyone could go out to breakfast and get pancakes. Very humorously, his dad replied.

"Of course, Dakey!"

Everyone laughed again, reminded of Sophie's recent previous funny blunder. This included Jake, who again found it extremely amusing. In fact, when the laughter eventually subsided, he put on a funny voice and reiterated that his name was Dakey.

Once again, fits of laughter across the board.

Dakey's fate is as good as sealed.

For the next few decades or so, there is no Jake. Only Dakey.
